Anyone have pelvic pain when their anal fissure is diagnosed as healed? I am getting so sad and so desperate. Internal spasms have stopped but now it is external anal pain and pelvic pain.

I'm on the same boat as you. Diagnosed as healed but have pelvic floor issues that cause pain after BMs. Plus I think the internal tissue is sensitive from scar tissue plus months of ointments. I strongly suggest you see a good pelvic floor PT with experience in treating the problems you have. I hope you find a solution to your pain soon.

Thank you so much. I just booked an ob/gym and will definitely ask for the referral. Great advise. Also, I put tw9 and two together, yesterday, that on days when I even strain just a little, the pelvic pain is really bad. For example, if I forget to take a stool softener or eat too much, BMs are not as easy the next day. There is definitely a correlation, so I hope tha5 helps you too. Don’t you just love talking about all this!

I notice similar issues with straining. One way to avoid that is to breath out into a closed fist. That way your diaphragm exerts downward pressure which pushes the BM out without straining.

I have only had pain today for 30 mins after BM. Difference was coconut oil suppositories. I have been pain free for nearly the whole day. No pelvic pain. I have not had a pain free day since mid September. It was amazing. Let me know if you want more info on the bullets.

Thank you so much. I feel much better, again. Even after BM. Buy organic extra virgin coconut oil (less than $10) and the suppository mold. Go to amazon and search suppository mold tray kit by Flora Natural. I really like their kit. Once you have your stuff, melt half a teaspoon of coconut oil and use the pipe provided to fill the molds. Refrigerate or freeze. I prefer the frozen ones. Use a stick to push suppository out of mold. Use one first thing in the morning and one after BM. If you feel discomfort during the day, use one.

I have found this calms my whole area and makes BMs very easy. I have not had pelvic pain at all. I really do think it is all related.

Thank you so much Elle, I will mix mine with zinc oxide cream because my fissure is still healing. I hope those little spasms after BM will go away. I didn't have this issue while on Nitro, but I had to stop it and since then after BM I feel tightness all around the anal ring for 15, 20 minutes. I need to get this under control. The hand support during BM works well, but I don't know for what reason yesterday, all day periodically, I felt sharp one second stabbing like pain coming from the opposite side of the fissure. My muscle was spasming but in a different way, almost not bothersome but weird. I did the previous day the tilts and I don't know if I actually clenched my muscles.

My pain did change once I was close to healing, and BMs would cause reactions all around the pelvic/rear area. It sounds like you are close! The coconut oil bullets have worked so well for me at this point of the process. I hope they help you too. We have all suffered enough!
