Levator Ani syndrome

Anyone else have really bad spasms? I have been symptom free for a YEAR!!! Just returned last week.. I had to take tramodol today.. terrible pain.
I went to PT last year for four months..

Anyone else have suggestions for relief

Maybe consult your PT once again? I would ask about trigger point injections as well.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter
Currently in pelvic physical therapy

I saw my colorectal surgeon again. She told me to try PT again.. and she also gave me valium, that does nada.. What is a trigger point injection??
She did mention internal botox..

Trigger point injections relieve spasm in a muscle. They are usually done with lidocaine.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter
Currently in pelvic physical therapy

My crs didn’t tell me About that! Does the CRS normally do it?

I don't think CRS doctors do that procedure. That's something a pain management doctor would do, but I'm not aware of other specialties that practice it.

Does physical therapy help you? It helped me for the three months I was in it...

Yes it helped me a lot. I used to have a lot of pain during the day which went away with PT. Unfortunately I reached a plateau and trigger point injections were suggested as the next step.
