6 months after LIS

Postby UTfan1228 » 20 Jul 2017, 13:47

Hello,

I had a LIS about 6 months ago. Everything was going great until two days ago. I was redoing my deck on my house and the next day I woke up with pain. My anus area is very swollen. It doesn't hurt to use the bathroom. It's on the opposite side of the anus from the fissure where the DR cut the anal muscle to relax the sphincter for healing. It's like I've torn or pulled a muscle almost. Thoughts?

It's really hard to say what this could be. It may be a hemorrhoid. Have you tried warm baths or ice to help reduce the swelling?
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
