Anal fissure post-surgery

Postby Armylife7191 » 01 Nov 2017, 11:52

I had surgery back in 2005 never had any issues with any Scar Tissue irritation. All of a sudden I wake up in pain ache burning can't barely sit shooting pain all the time and it's driving me crazy. The only thing I can remember that could of probably irritated this Scar Tissue would have been continuous use of the rolw machine I was doing at CrossFit. I hope this is just temporary, I would like to know if there's anything I can do in order to ease the pain and heal this thing. Any sudgestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can try warm sitz baths or a hot water bottle to try and ease the pain. Do you feel like the sphincter has tightened up again with this new pain?
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
