I came across this product http://www.tordynex.com/?Produkte100Analfissuren

As I understand, this "thing" is made to put in the anal canal over the night without ointment ( with saliva for lubrication !?) Before the use the anal canal must be cleaned. They offer anal shower with.

Here is some translation of the text:

"Why does the anal Fissurstift without chemical additives cures the fissure?

1
The Fissurstift is a medical device made from an inactive plastic with excellent biocompatibility + + it is made idividually , because the material can not be processed in molds.
Through his property he draws the hemostatic and healing platelets to increasing , according to a collection immediately initiate the so-called platelet aggregation and close the wound .

2
Next the Fissurstift keeps on forming a wound fluid ( lymph) to the wound.
The lymph contains urea, creatinine , glucose, sodium, potassium , phosphate and calcium ions.
There are also numerous enzymes such as diastase , catalase, dipeptidases and lipases , as well as fibrinogen and fibrin precursors .
Fibrinogen and fibrin are responsible for the clotting during long standing lymph.
The lymphocytes are included , the supernatant is referred Lymphserum .

Bacteria can be dragged with the lymph of disorders of the lymph nodes, where they are recognized and destroyed by lymphocytes.
which quickly forms a skin over the wound .
A property that can be observed in bubbles.

Customized information .

In diabetic patients , the healing period is extended by the amount of daily insulin dose.
Similarly, the prolonged healing time easily when the anticoagulant person being treated or taking medications with hemophilia ( hemophilia ) suffers.
In 2 out of the 100 patients with Rhesus negative can be made for reasons not yet been clarified , the effect fail entirely or partially .

Anal fissure pins can be introduced in the anal canal so far that the thinnest part (about 7 mm ) of the pin is enclosed by the sphincter.

Anal canal should be cleaned before use. The fissure - pin should stay there min.
one hour (better left at night) .
In general, the fissures are pain free after one to two hours and healed within 3 to 4 days.
If new fissures occur again , the pin is to use one to two hours again.

If the formation of new fissures within the first 2 days of treatment by hard stool , the healing time may be slightly longer .
Hard stool can be prevented by dried fruit, figs and chocolate drinks .

The Fissurstift is easy to clean after each use.
This can be done by boiling (at least three minutes in a boiling water left ) .
Unclean Fissurstifte prolong the healing process and may cause more pain.

Analfissurstifte are intended for fissures in the sphincter .

Allergies to the material are not yet occurred .
The material was successfully used by Tordynex in 2003 as an implant for urinary incontinence ."

So, this is it. Of course the site also provides many good reviews from customers.
Desperate as I am, maybe will buy it.
Does anyone use this?

I apologize for some poor translation.
Disabling burning, drilling pain in anal area for almost a year, started after UT infection. Small anal fissure diagnosed, turned out it is probably not the cause of pain, MRI shows no inflammation or fistula. Grateful to forum members for support.

My thoughts completely OMB! X.............
Rio - I thought this was quite an interesting & intriguing concept! - Relieves pain in 1-2 hours/ heals a fissure in 3-4 days all at 102 E (£86.00 ish UK)
I'd love to see someone trial one of these things! & it does seem affordable.
The best bit of all though "Trial 5 days for free and if you're not satisfied, money back guarantee!!" So, do they "recycle" them??!......
Thanks for posting this - Any feedback on here would be really interesting! :)

It just sounds too good to be true. They forgot to tell that 3-4 days is meant for fissure that has not become chronic yet. Somewhere at the end they admit "there were good results with chronic AF too, but it took longer to heal".
And it bothers me that it is meant to clean the fissure, shower the fissure, and if it is not cleaned the Fissurstift may not help. Does anyone shower the anal canal after BM?

They talk about how to clean the fissure on another page:
How do you clean a fissure?
Exactly how to clean a dirty wound on his finger before installing a patch. One has for so long a germ-free liquid run over the wound until the wound is clean and can not ignite.

The shower should not be used to clean the bowel, but the fissure. The shower head of a deep cleansing should therefore press the rinse from the inside out and not from the outside to the inside. You should not save with the rinsing liquid. The more intense is flushed, the purer is the wound.

If no anal douche is available, we offer this individually or with the anal Fissurstift as a complete set and a specially developed for anal fissures Tordynex shower head and washing up liquid "Kamilnatrin" to. Since our shower is the special shower head in the upper price segment, we recommend at least buying an enema syringe from a pharmacy. In this enema should be taken to ensure that not too much washing liquid gets into the intestines.

So they mean some kind of douche or special thing for sticking up inside and washing down to the outside. They sell a kit, and there is a picture of it: http://www.tordynex.com/?Analfissur-Komplettset
I
don't fancy it myself.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

It doesn't seem to be anything more complicated than what many members on this board (including myself) have done. Making sure the fissure site is clean is something done a little differently by everyone, but is critical after every BM to make sure no residual irritating stool is left in the wound. Some people have used tiny syringes with warm water (the kind sold for babies) and others have used shower heads, soaking in tubs, and various other means to get clean.

The second part doesn't seem any more complicated than using some kind of dilator and leaving it in for an extended period of time. I've done that too. I've had a lot of success getting fissures to heal this way, even chronic ones. Trouble is, my fissures never stay healed for long because of such severe GI problems and constant acidic diarrhea. But this two-step approach is definitely worth trying, especially on new fissures. And if anyone wants to try one that can be cooled, they can try a product called Anurex. If you want to try one that can be cooled or heated there is one called Dilatan.
