Aw sounds painful.  I don't know .....possibly could be a side affect of recto.... I use coconut oil (raw organic) first then put the recto on top of that so to speak.  I insert the coconut oil, then insert recto coconut oil makes inserting the recto easier and it may help to soothe your blisters, oouch!  Hope it gets better soon, good wishes. Hi PB. Yes I have been using recto since mmmm last Oct I think.  I had Botox nearly 4 weeks ago.....I have a diary under diaries..if u want to check it out about my progress. Coconut oil is also good to eat a little, I have about a small spoonful every day....helps BM to slip out...google it -it has good healing properties.  Re recto I've found it better since using it with the coconut oil.  Also don't use loo paper....either use baby wipes, or just a shower head to clean up after BM -that may also help with your blisters, good luck!

Good luck tomorrow.  I was nervous too, but it went really well.  Just pain on the first few days, then v little pain....no pain killers needed after the first few days.  I was able to walk after the first couple of days.  I am back to swimming now, and it's fine.  I haven't dared bet back on my bicycle yet though! I think I will wait a few more weeks for that!  You will b fine tomorrow, warm wishes.

Puzzled,
People do develop reactions to using the creams and you've been using it a while. My CRS was really adamant that you shouldn't use it continuously for more than 8 weeks and only after, on and off, so would definitely ask the question.
Like AA, I'm a huge fan of Coconut Oil - incredibly soothing & moisturising. Some swear it's healed their fissures, so would recommend it, but it might help you just to lay off any applications after the Botox just to let your bot "breathe" again.......
ALLthe very best with your Botox tomorrow - There's a fair few on this site who've had that procedure recently, so keeping my fingers crossed for you that all goes well xx
