Has anyone had an EUA for fissures ? How painful is it after ? Wouldnt it aggravate the fissure and cause more pain after ? How about BM after the procedure ?

When I consulted with my CRS he could not digitally exam me since it was painful but said it could be fissure or and abscess. He gave me nefidpine + lidocaine ointment and said if it does not cure then he will do a EUA. I have been applying it for 4 days but it has not shown much improvemnt ( i had one day yesterda when i had no BM and no pain but with miralax and multiple BM the pain is back ). I have an appointment with him again soon and am scared that i have to do an EUA.

You don't have to have an EUA - it's your decision to make, and you need to work out with your specialist a plan of treatment that suits you best.
