Exercise

Postby anniebee » 04 Sep 2015, 13:08

I am at my wit's end with pain and spasms. Nothing seems to work. I end up in bed most days. It's just too hard to do anything. As I review what I have/have not done, I really have not had any significant exercise including walking, due to the pain. If I push myself through the pain and walk, how much help for pain/spasms would this be?

my doc told me walking will help with the blood flow which in turn will help the healing... I have the same problem though- mostly it hurts too much to get a good walk in... I take it slow and try to stay close to home... continue trying though - exercise is important even for your emotional wellbeing- especially when suffering this much! keep trying!

Yes, I agree, exercise is very important.
Just a slow walk for 15-20 minutes can be really beneficial. It gets the blood flow pumping around, it helps loosen tight pelvic muscles and the fresh air and change of scenery just makes you feel so much better.
I say take some ibuprofen or paracetamol and give it a try!
