Does it hurt when you go to the bathroom? Do you see bright red blood when you go to the bathroom? If the answer is no to both of these, then I don't think you have a fissure. But you aren't telling us anything other than you have some discomfort when you fart. You don't say for how long or when it started.fuzzybritches wrote:I just farted and it didn’t hurt. Does that mean I am getting better? Should I keep a daily log of my farts with a 0 to 10 pain scale to show my doctor? The soonest appointment he has available isn’t until October.

Sometimes it burns after I fart. I have noticed that the more the fart smells the worse it hurts. If my wife can smell it, it’s at least a 5 on the pain scale. If it smells so bad my dog leaves the room, it’s at least an 8 on the pain scale. Any thoughts?
