For Pain - what I do

Postby Kinkypoodle » 01 Sep 2015, 02:06

Almost %100 effective, though very temporary:

When the pain becomes incapacitating, as it often does, I go into a supported downward dog, sholderstand or backbend over chairs. Pain is gone within a minute and a half. I travel with leashes or yoga straps to tie myself to trees, car door jambs, etc. if I can't stay at home. Exercise does wonders for my state of mind. I've a bad lower back so that's why I do supported downward dog. It took me four hours last week to shave our two standard poodles who came back from the trails covered in burs: 10 min shaving, 3 minutes shoulder stand. Repeat.
I do think coconut oil is helping me heal. Yesterday, the first day I tried it, I spent mostly upside down. I was using nothing for a while, and not healing really at all.
