Hi Alyssa. how are your issues lately? I went ahead with the Botox back in November. Thankfully the procedure itself was pretty much a non-event. No side effects at all. I didn't see any real difference between the procedure and the follow up exam 3 weeks later. The CRS said the IS was no longer as tight and said that next steps would be exploratory procedures but he doesn't recommend that. What I did do was reduce the amount of fiber consumed as I believe it was just making the problem worse. What I did find kind of frustrating was that on the report from the procedure, that I didn't read until recently, he wrote to do Kegal exercises which the Physical Therapist had specifically said to not do. An email with the CRS said that I should have been doing them all along so I now need to do some research on that topic.
Hope your doing better
