heart rate

Hi

Ive noticed that after a bowel movement I sometimes have an increase in heart rate...it beats faster for a short while?

Has anyone noticed this with their anal fissure or bowel movement?

I know there is a nerve connected to the heart from the anus but was just wondering if this is a symptom of an anal fissure and is common or something else?

I will go back to the doc if not

I've never experienced that, other than from anxiety when my fissure was at its worst. I would check with the doc on that one.

Strange it only happened the once and now its stopped!
