How much time off work did you take for LIS?

He much time off of work do you recommend for LIS? My surgeon says he can do the surgery on a Thursday and I can go back to work on a Monday but that sounds overly optimistic to me. I do a lot of alternating positions at work, from standing to sitting to walking around. Thanks!

I had Friday surgery and took the following week off. The Thurs. or Fri. following surgery probably would have been OK but I was glad for the extra few days.

Thanks for the information! Sounds like a week off should be ok. I had tried to read through some of the diaries to get an idea of the timing but I have been so tired recently that it was faster just to ask you all. Thanks!
