Having an AF does make for an easy way to diet (lose weight), but I would hardly say it is worth it. Like being sick with the flu and unable to eat because of that. In what part of the U.S. do you live???????

I've had an anxiety disorder my entire life (including when I was a little kid) and have occasional bouts of insomnia as a result. I'm probably the biggest drug user on this board :) so you can guess where this is going ... yeah, I take drugs for insomnia here and there. Maybe a handful of times a month. If it's bad I take Lunesta (eszopiclone which is closely related to zopiclone), if it's mild, then some Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Valerian root does the trick. I've also tried melatonin but that gives me diarrhea so I don't take it often lol. Anyway options to consider if it gets bad enough, I guess... I agree with Dawn, I think it's the anxiety from the butt problem. Movicol and diltiazem shouldn't cause insomnia unless the Movicol upsets your GI system or something.
