Actually , when I saw it I was relieved since it shows that it is actually REALLY 10 min procedure max!!!
The procedure on this video is done using cauter (electrical burning of the tissue) and not a scalpel . Some surgeons use scissors.
At the end of this procedure skin-tag was cut-off too and scar tissue to promote better healing.

It's surprisingly quick, and yeah I noticed that at the end they cut off the skin tag, watching it hasn't put me off one bit, I would have LIS tomorrow, unfortunately most CRS's don't like to perform, they'll try anything else first, here in the UK it's like the very last option, I.E. they will try all ointments first and advise high fiber diet, i'm currently on my last option before LIS.

Just watched the video and am not sure I should have :oops: Definitely made me feel a bit uneasy since I might be getting the same thing done soon... The only plus side is that it's not nearly as disturbing as the pics I've seen of rectal prolapse. If anyone wants to see something that will sear itself into your mind that's a good one to look up
