Sorry for the long post.



Quick history - I first had a big instance of fissure back in September 2018. Terrible pain for hours after bowel movements. I tried botox in December but it didn’t help. I then had a surgery of anal dilatation in May 2019. The fissure pain stopped for a few months. But since November 2019, I get a fissure flare up every few days if I have even a slightly hard stool. It heals on it’s own in 3-4 days. I recently went through a csection and I’m currently breastfeeding and having an extremely big flare up that is causing me to cry in pain and be in bed for hours. Is LIS an option for me to heal this long term? I’m very worried because I have already unfergone anal dilatation but I’m still in this situation. Thoughts appreciated!

Also can anyone please recommend a good colorectal surgeon in San francisco or SF bay area?
