LIS under a local anaesthetic ?

Postby Aussie_Fissure » 07 May 2014, 00:23

Hi all,
Im just wondering if it spossible to have this surgery under a local rather than a general anaesthetic? I worry about the side effects of a GA (ok, I worry about not waking up from it)... has anyone had LIS under a local?

Hi, I had both my LIS and then my double advancement flap surgeries done with a spinal instead a general. I did just fine. Suzy.
