Just want to get an opinion. For a fissure does it have to be connected to the actual anus?

My supposbly anal fissure sits just north of the anus appearing as a vertical 1cm - 1.5cm my guess

Someone has suggested this could be a pileodinal problem, but I don't think it as it looks like a cut

Perhaps for it to be a anal fissure it needs to be actually be on the anus?

Difficult to tell. Would be best to see a CRS and get an opinion.

There is a lot on here about fissures...as you can imagine. Best to go through the documents. We are all different.
