Yes. This is one of my "go-to" ointments. Like any other topical it isn't a miracle in a tube, but I do find it useful enough for pain management that after years of trying every cream out there, it is one of the few I still keep reaching for.

Oh, and be warned. The "cooling" effect can be pretty intense feeling. Some people might not like that, but I find the intensity of that effect to be what helps with pain relief. You might want to just try a little bit at first on an area of your anal skin away from the fissure location just to be sure.
