Medical Devices

Postby bgd » 20 Apr 2013, 12:08

I searched on google to see if there are any devices around that would help pooping more easily. At one point I was so afraid of going to the toilet that I contemplated sticking a funnel up my arse and try to poop through it, to protect my fissure. Crazy how this condition can drive you insane.
Anyhow, I found a toilet seat called Colorec on Mechamedic dot com. Please google it, I can't post links yet.
What do you guys think about it?

there is also a video on YouTube about this device.

The idea is the same as trying to make sure the anus isn't stretching too much during a BM. You could also try using a few fingers to apply firm pressure to the area between the coccyx and tailbone while you have a BM to kind of simulate what this device would do in order to see if it helps you. It would be an expensive investment if it didn't help, but the creators of it claim good results with it in a small study they published about it. This would also only be for posterior fissures.
