Need Some Help

Postby ku-9 » 28 May 2016, 00:13

Hi Everyone,
Only just joined this forum and have been reading through all of the posts and it is so comforting to know you all are going through similar frustrations as I am having.
I have been to the GP twice and both have given me a referral for surgery. I have had fissure for nearly a year and it is becoming worse as time goes by.
I know I should go for a consultation but I am honestly nervous to have the surgery. I have had previous surgery on my bowels after a strangulated bowel after having my appendix taken out in 2010 and I have always struggled since with my bowels.
I have tried natural remedies but life gets in the way and I usually end up not following through with them, as I am sure you guys have experienced.
Any comments that may assist would be much appreciated!
:thankyou:

Hello there ku-9!

Welcome to the forum although I know none of us want to be here!

I'm sorry you've been suffering for such a long time. It's a horrible thing to have to deal with. I think you should go along for a consultation at least and see what they say. Worth getting some expert input as there's only so much your GP can help with really.

Keep eating well and drinking plenty of water. And be kind to yourself. BB x
