I have not used it myself but other chronic pelvic pain patients have recomendated it; I've used the tens unit it helps me distract myself from the pain...

I had Botox injected to the sphincter but have not had any change in pain; I had internal work done (pt massages the muscles rectally) afterwards I was in aching pain but today feel less pain... I have to continue to do dilation to mobile the constricted tissue...

Seems we are on similar trajectories in this area. I went to a PT who found a trigger point in my internal sphincter, worked on it, and i went blind with pain for a bit.
She wanted me to work on it. It was very painful. I've done it once.
Scary waters ahead, or a way out of all this?

Have you had this done more than once? Have you done it on your own yet?

I have not tried on my own... Today I went to a different pt and I am in pain... I'm worn out of being in constant pain.
