Positive Stories?

Postby chachacha » 13 Dec 2014, 21:05

I've read about a couple of positive results following LIS, but most of the posts on the first couple of pages are by people having problems after the surgery, and many even regret having had it done. There is reference to good outcomes, and happy campers, but I don't see their posts. I understand that many people come to forums with problems and complaints, and maybe the ones who do well don't post, or even come here, but since I'll be having surgery soon, I'd sure love to read about those for whom the procedure was a great success and changed their lives dramatically for the better.

Chachacha,

I am also considering to have a surgery but not lis, kenalog injection. Have you tried kenalog?

I was just about to delete this post because I found a section down at the bottom of the home page that is all about success stories (way below the sections on LIS, Fistulas, Crohn's, etc.), but will certainly now answer your question. I have not tried kenolog, but will look it up now.

Search for davo's story, very positive and funny too. I had some issues after LIS but would still consider the experience positive and successful. My diary is titled Unexpected LIS.
