That's what I'd probably do. There seems to be a
general progression in treatment i.e. if the creams
dont work then try botox, if that does not work then try
LIS.

Lefthanded I was thinking the same thing on anal transplants.
I think the closest thing they have now is that "double advancement flap"
surgery that some have had here.

Annette24, not saying this can be an option for you, but even
with botox at a 50%-80% success rate (even if you have to get
follow up shots), it sure is much less invasive than other ways.

Sugarspice, could you tell more about your Botox experience. what could be side effects? is their increased pain after the procedure or during? if the muscle is relaxed, is there any incontinence problem? thank you

I had Botox back in June.
I felt sore for about a week after. They have to stretch you open quite a bit to get the injections in just the right place. I didn't have incontinence, but when I had the urge to go... I had to go!!!
For me the Botox didn't work.... I think it actually made things worse. ... It aggrivated my hems and I developed a painfull coccyx... But.... There are a lot of members on here who have had great success with Botox.
