Hey thanks for the update, FissureHome.
As some of you know, I also suffered with diltiazem sensitivity and had a terrible itch and rash which, like FissureHome's, resolved within a few days of stopping the diltiazem.
So I would like to add my words to FH's - if you get a rash with diltiazem, stop using it.
Good luck with the LIS, my friend.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!
