Crohns and Celiac diagnosing

Postby vdb324 » 30 Jan 2014, 16:08

Hi,

I am having LIS in March. I met with the GI today and she has some concerns about Crohns and Celiac that they want to diagnose before surgery. How were these diagnosed for any of you?

For the Crohns, they want to do a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and video capsule after doing the MRI. The GI said it is sometimes hard to find and diagnose, but this is a lot!

Celiac is just a blood test that I will do before the above.
