Anusitis

Postby guest1 » 19 Mar 2014, 06:53

Hi again,
I was writing in the forum about AF that I am or was suffering since July last year. I tried all creams, laxatives, diet, did sigmoidoscopy. The GI doctor who did the test said that all is clear and told me not to come back and just keep stool soft. It was not satisfactory to me and I went for another opinion , because I still bleed once in 1-2 weeks . So I was checked by CRS, very different approach, different questions and he diagnosed me with anusitis and fissuring. this diagnosis makes the most sense. and he is the first doctor who told me to come back for the follow up!! He gave me to try anurex-controlled cold therapy. I have not tried yet since my apt was yesterday. Anybody suffered from anusitis, any feedback?
Thanks!

Very nasty - I'm glad you found someone who will take the time to diagnose you properly and hopefully treat your disease.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Thanks, Scientist. Hopefully it will help. The problem is that Anurex is hard to insert considering that I am sore. I managed to do it only 1sm:( but the coolness provided some relief to my surprise

Savaice, thanks for the post. But I am looking for personal experiences. Wikipedia is not of my favourites. If people want to read about this or other conditions this is good website:
