The Squatty Potty sucks.

Postby Loomis » 06 May 2014, 21:00

I bought a squatty potty because I saw so many people on here recommend it, but I definitely would not recommend it to someone with a current fissure. Perhaps for someone with hemorrhoids, but not a fissure. I've only had it about 4 days, but it does not help me go to the bathroom any easier, and the biggest negative about it is the way you sit on the toilet when using it, it spreads your anus very much. There have been a few times where I sat on the toilet and used it, wasn't able to have a bowel movement, but my fissure would develop pain and itching when I would stand up because my anus had been spread for 5 minutes while sitting on the toilet. This is something that never happened before I used the squatty potty. Anyone else have any negative reactions when trying to use it?
