Great article. I am always looking for the latest developments. Thank you for sharing this. It makes a lot of sense that the best way to treat sphincter tone, in turn treating fissures, would be pharmacological. Maybe in the future people who suffer an anal fissure will only have to take a pill to be cured and surgery will be considered a barbaric and antiquated way of treating them.
