I'm starting to think that's what it is. And now I'm terrified of making them worse... can they go back in on their own?

They definitely could reduce. The situation that made them though has to be resolved. Do you know what may have preceded their appearance? If you have some time to rest and not be on your feet too long. Do lots of soaks and avoid constipation things should improve. Alternatively, hydrocortisone ointment could help. Not sure where you are located but you can buy it over the counter in North America. Just be sure to not use longer than a week or so or you can cause the skin to thin.

Does the skin covering them look shiny like the inside of your mouth? or more skin like? Shiny is mucous membrane and indicates internal hemorrhoids while more skin like indicates external hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids don't usually hurt too much either unless they clot/thrombose.

Looks skin-like. Definitely. But I thought it was the internal ones that generally didn't hurt?

And I've got to work for the next three days. Idk if that's good or bad. I won't be able to rest. But I won't be sitting down at all. Gotta be on my feet : /

Movement is probably better than sitting.

external hemmies often itch, especially when they are healing. Internal ones don't typically hurt when they stay inside but there are others on here that would disagree with that. So would my Mom.

Okay. No itching so that's good. And yeah that's right, don't people say exercise is good? I get lots of exercise at work. I just hope it isn't too much xD

Wow I haven't been on this forum in awhile...

I was doing so well. Months of no problems. Then one time I got a little too dehydrated and bam, back to where I was! I'm sure the lump is back, I can kinda feel it becoming irritated when I poop, but I'm refusing to look at it cuz last time that just made me so freaked out that I actually had a panic attack (remember my health anxiety I talked about before?) So yeah. Back to the Miralax and Metamucil bars (why did I ever stop eating those? Why? Psyllium husk gives me the best BMs ever!!) And 9 glasses of water a day. It actually doesn't hurt as much as my last flare-up, but it bleeds slightly more. Ugh. How are all you doing??
