Just bought DR.wheatgrass skin recovery cream

Postby destlny » 31 Jan 2012, 09:25

For the past month I have been dealing with this pain of an AF. A couple of months ago I had minor discomfort and blood (ignored it and just ate better and it went away) and then came back 10x worse! I started taking fish oil, fiber pills, digest more pills and eating different and it has helped a little bit where i am not crying when i go to the bathroom but still in pain. I just started with vitamin c ( which helps heal wounds) . I went to the hospital and got checked by a gastro specialist which he prescribed a nifenphilne cream( i think im spelling that wrong but something like that) which i've been using for a week. i read stories where it works and others where it doesnt so I also just bought this dr wheatgrass skin recovery cream that looks like it could be a miracle cream ( which im hoping was not just written by the people selling it) but at this point I will try anything. I should be getting it in couple days so I will def post up if this works! This past weekend i went out to celebrate my birthday and drank and the next day it was the worst pain yet! so now no more drinks no more coffee no more bad food. I find it so crazy that just a small cut would have to affect my life so much! :(

I used the Dr Wheatgrass and found that it irritated my skin. Then I discovered it had alcohol in it, which was the reason for me. Perhaps the type you have does not contain this, but I would look at the ingredients.
Some have been helped by Dr Wheatgrass, others not.
Personally, I would stay with the Nifedipine, and use a little vaseline if you need something else. This worked well for me, anyway.
Good luck!

If you look up Dr. Wheatgrass on Amazon.com the opinions there are pretty informative.
You'd probably be better off using coconut oil , lanolin or aloe vera.
Nifedipine has been slowly helping me.
After you heal, you need to stick to the same healing regimen, as it takes a long time for the newly healed skin to toughen up.
My doc says no alcohol or caffeine as they are vascocontrictors and can increase the pressure there which is the opposite of what you want.

I've actually found the dr wheatgrass to be vey helpful and very soothing. I use the superbalm. It's one of the few creams I don't find irritating on my sensitive skin. Everyone is different, and results therefore are always going to be mixed, but it is one cream I do find helpful.

Alcohol is a vasodilator at small doses (it's why you feel warm and may get a flushed face)... It becomes a vasoconstrictor at high doses...

This stuff does not work. Maybe if your ha a very minor one that was going to heal anyway. Took me a year to heal my fissure and i still dont feel normal yet. The wheatgrass cream did not help.

I left a negative review here twice and they were both deleted 2 days later. He deletes negative comments so dont think it is a miracle cream. Thats what i thought. Only positivie comments? This must work! No, it doesnt.

I agree. It didn't help me at all. I really had hoped it would be a miracle cure like the website says but I think some fissures just heal on their own.
Developed fissure from constipation due to breastfeeding 7 weeks after delivery (Jan 2014)
Nifedepine
Colace
Magnesium
Miralax - godsend
Nitro - some improvement
LIS (May 2014) - cured for 3 months then setback
Diltiazem
Feeling better for now

Awful people that take advantage of those desperate to heal themselves! Truly despicable!
Dec '13 Fissure from anoscope
3 X internal sphincter botox
'08-'15 Botox for pelvic floor dysfunction
Nov '14 LIS/sentinel tag removal
Feb '15 Deroofing of recurrent infection from LIS
summer '15-healed but still ongoing muscle dysfunction/pain

that stuff is a waste of money - you would be better off drinking some wheatgrass juice, im serious. Stick with the the nifedipine.

Wow I bought this dr. Wheatgrass last night off amazon and then for some reason I felt like I shouldn't have, so I came on here to see of any one has tried it. $47 for something that probably won't be any more effective than what I'm already doing is just too much! I trust your thoughts an opinions over the testimonial page! So needless to say, I hurried and called amazon and told them to cancel my order. Since it's a third party supplier, amazon had to send them an email to stop the order. Now I have to wait 24-48 hours... Let's hope this gets reversed! :/... Btw... I've been doing my coconut oil remedy, but I started to take sitz baths 2-3 times a day now and I put Epsom salt that has a lavender essential oil in it and I have had two non painful bowel movements in the morning!! Yay! This is such a slow road to recovery ugh! But a day without a painful stool turns into a pretty good day for me and my kiddos!! :)
