Herbal Tea?

Postby Fissurefrustration » 18 Mar 2015, 06:29

clutching at straws here guys....

but who has thought of trying herbal teas to help with AF? I've started peppermint tea this week which has made my bowels easier to pass (softer) as they are meant to help with digestion.

Just a thought!

I use straight peppermint oil IN my peppermint tea and it is awesome for calming muscle spasms in the colon (this makes it very strong). I also drink camomile tea but don't think it is quite as effective. I have IBS and have used this for years. I use it mainly after my morning BM to settle things down. Peppermint oil is a very potent smooth muscle relaxant. I have also been known to chow down on Altoids throughout the day as they are very high in peppermint oil. Hope it keeps helping you.
