Poll on blood circulation

Postby hopefull » 06 Jun 2015, 22:57

Hi All

I was wondering if a lack of circulation can hinder the ability to 'self heal' an AF and thought I'd see if it might be something us forum users have in common. Perhaps a bit of a biased poll but very curious.

Thanks for participating. :thankyou:

ps. perhaps a follow up poll could be poor circulation vs successful healing
AF since Jan '15 postpartum
Taking: Lax-sachets, flaxseed oil, Mg
Topical: Diltiazem, Sudocrem
Circulation: Warm wheat bag, relax, short walks
Tried: Rectogesic, slippery elm, Lactulose

I think you might be on to something! I have raynauds (poor blood circulation) and my fissure has taken so long to begin healing.
Suffering since June 2013

Methods tried:
GTN cream - migraines!
Manuka Honey / Coconut oil / Aloe
tag excision X 2, botox x 3
Dilatiazem
dilatation 2 X daily + Retin-C Vitamin Scar Treatment Oil 2 X daily - best thing ever.
Now pain free 2/7/21

I don't think I have poor circulation but I am not very active on account of the radiating butt pain so I do think circulation is definitely important. That is what the ointments are supposed to help with.

I'm on 0.2 % Nitro but wonder if it is strong enough for me as I often don't feel any effect from it apart from a sting when I apply it, perhaps since I have poor circulation I need something stronger.

FF and Hurtinend, did you vote? Seems more votes for good circulation than poor circulation or am I reading it wrong?

Hopeful, I have had stronger nitro and it can give a horrible headache. Maybe your Doctor can prescribe diltiazem or nifedipine for you. Sometimes one doesn't work as well as another for certain people.
