Pain Killers

Postby anniebee » 30 Sep 2015, 11:04

I have been in the same shape for 3.5 months and losing hope. Nothing works. I have a hem/sentinel pile which is excruciatingly painful for most of the day/night after a BM. I don't want anything that constipates and can't take ibuprophen. Has anyone tried anything prescription or non that eases the pain outside of these drugs mentioned??

I think muscle relaxants or sedatives are helpful (personal experience).

I have a prescription for flexiril and clonazepam. both drugs have to be used in moderation and occasionally (and separately) to avoid dependency, tolerance or withdrawal. they are good drugs to manage pain but some doctors will be hesitant to prescribe them because some ppl get addicted too easily. they don't act on the pain directly, they just relax your mind or muscles, which can be helpful.
