I am trying to heal from an anal fissure I acquired during an examination with a proctoscope. I went in with one and came out with two. I have been itching recently, hoping this is healing and nothing else but my main problem is that if I try to walk, even slowly around the garden I swell up near the fissure and it feels as though I am injuring the fissure. It then takes all day to go down again. I did have a bit of diarrhoea this morning which also worries me as it can really irritate the skin and I am panicking I have got backwards by weeks.

Anybody else felt this problem with swelling after walking. Will it ever get easier?
