Postby tjszw » 15 Oct 2015, 22:19

Hi everyone,
I am not to this forum. I am from Toronto, Canada. I have been suffering the anal fissure for more than a year.I am considering LIS surgery. I am looking for more information about it and looking for an experienced doctor as well. Thanks in advance for any advice!

If you put LIS into the search bar at the top right hand of the page it will come up with loads of info on LIS. I suggest having a really good read through some of the threads.
There is also a thread recommending CRSs.

tjszw...i am also from hogtown.

I would highly highly recommend you go get checked out by Dr. Bernick at the East General

Division of General Surgery
Toronto East General
Hospital
Medical Centre
840 Coxwell Avenue,
Suite 203
Toronto, ON M4C 5T2

Tel: 416 461-0165

It is tough to get a quick appt. but if you can handle the wait he is great. You may be able to get an earlier appt. if you go on a cancellation list.

Good luck,
Canadabum

Hi owmybum & canadabum,
Thanks very much for your reply. Much appreciated! Canadabum, your story is encouraging. Hopefully, I could have good luck like you had. I already asked my family doctor to contact Dr. Bernick ,not sure how long I have to wait, but I will keep you guys posted. Thanks once again!
