I have been watching the you tube link you shared. Very interesting. Do you have complete confidence at this point with your pain issues that everything has been investigated to rule out any structural abnormalities and get you to the point of complete acceptance that you are dealing with neuropathic pain. I am interested in your history which is very similar to my own. I have been suffering since May 14 with firstly fissures, subsequent operations and now scar tissue and pelvic floor tightness. I believe that my pain is both, structural and neuropathic as I know I have scar tissue pain, micro tears from weakened mucosa and now pf pain. It is indeed a cycle to break. I see new pf specialist tomorrow and and both terrified and hopeful.

Copy cat,

Yes I am sure there is nothing structurally wrong.. My pain has spread out as well and my arms have started burning too so I know the central nervous system is on overdrive. My pain started after delivering my daughter February 2014 and it has gotten worse (the firing is getting stronger). My body perceived the surgery (csection) as a threat and it created this pain to protect me. Since I had had a hemeroidectomy 6 years prior the area (rectal) had a pain memory and it knew that it would get my attention. Our mind is so powerful I can't even believe it can create or maintain this cycle of pain.

Good luck with physical
Therapy.. It was helpful for me but it did not provide full relief since the tight pelvic floor muscles were just part of my problem.

Thinking back.. Of the beginning of my painful journey; I don't think I ever had a fissure.. Since I had pain with BM's that what doctors assumed but I never had the pain that people have wit fissure ( I had a hemeroidectomy and I know what a cut in the ass feels like lol).
