Rectogesic - headache

Postby over10yearsnow » 12 Feb 2016, 19:35

I started rectogesic today. Almost instantly I felt light headed, then a headache came on which is getting progressively worse and now I feel nauseous with it.

It's been 8 hours since I applied it. Any ideas how long on average until it wears off.

I'm scared to apply any more!!!:(

Thanks Bracken. I'm ok on it now. I went down to a half dose, took painkillers half hour before applying and would then go to bed and have a sleep. I then slowly upped the dose over a week and after a week I was fine. I now get a slight headache, but really only a 1 out of 10 on the pain scale and it's gone in 10-20 minutes.....unless I run around right afterwards as that makes it worse and then last longer, so I take it easy for a little while (not always possible with the hectic lives we lead though!).
