help for anal fissures

Postby mtirellagreen » 12 Jun 2016, 18:26

I want to share with others what I did to help my anal fissures heal. I was trying everything from sitz baths, to
different ointments, and finally what worked was using a glove to insert nitrate ointment into your anus,
and smoothing it all over, covering especially the area where the fissure may be.
Do not touch the nitrate ointment without a glove, it can lower your blood pressure, so be careful.
I could barely walk and was giving up hope of these painful fissures ever improving. A colleague who also had
Crohn's disease told me this helped her with her anal fissures, and within 3 days my fissures were feeling better. Good luck!
