INTRODUCTION

Postby messis » 14 Oct 2016, 10:26

I am 59 years old leave in Cyprus.... got a fissure issue since 2 months ago as I had a diet with a lot of fiber... but did not hydrated as I should. Now am trying to heal my fissure. Its going a lot better because of duphalac and good hydration. pain now its minimal and blood less (it used to be seen in the toilet now its just some small stains on the paper).

Somebody said me to use after bowel movements coconut oil its healing. Does anybody had such an experience?

Welcome Chris!
Good to hear you are recovering. I used coconut oil -- a small size goes a long way. It definitely seemed to help me. I'm sure a few others will add their thoughts too. Looking up coconut oil in the search feature may help too. Probably doesn't hurt to give it a shot.

I kept mine on the outside, just to soothe the area. Between prescription creams and that area healing, I found the coconut oil soothing. It can be messy, so I just used a dab and that seemed to be enough.
