Just out of interest I have terrible muscle tension in my anus. The muscle that is tender is about an inch inside my anus and next to the tailbone. My pelvic floor therapist found it but when i do internal massage i can feel the tenderness. Is this the internal anal sphincter???? Or levator ani ??? Or are they both related??
