Sheriproct Ointment

Postby banjobuddy » 14 Dec 2016, 05:31

I've been using Sheriproct ointment since I had my fissure recurrence about 9 days ago, rather than my Germoloids ointment. Is Sheriproct the right ointment for AFs or is it more for piles, which I also suffer from? If not, can anyone suggest a good alternative and maybe more natural alternatives which are soothing and healing. I've used too many ointment and creams over the years and don't really want to thin the skin any further than I probably have done. Incidentally, I'm in the UK.

I can't comment on the meds, but for natural healing I use extra virgin organic coconut oil. Good luck.

Thanks! I might try the extra virgin organic coconut oil. I've heard it mentioned quite often on here :-)

I have used a lot of creams, I like medi honey, comfrey and oregano oil mixed with extra virgin coconut oil. MSM cream was quite soothing too. I try them for about 6 weeks and keep the ones I find best for me.
