In the night, woken by sudden constant burning pain in my rectum, now hours later it won't go away, not sure what to do.

Took a bath. Not only my anus but also my legs and feet are red and inflamed.

I had thought I was over this, that it wouldn't happen again, but it has.

Last time when I went to A&E with similar pain the doctor said he thought it was caused by stress, and recommended psychotherapy.

The pain makes me feel so helpless.
