Hi, I'm new to the forum and need some advice.

I have 2 anal skin tags that have been there for around 8-10 years. After finally getting fed up of them, I purchased a skin tag removal kit to freeze them off.

After freezing the stalks / sides of the skin tags, they doubled in size (I assume from swelling). Is this normal? Have I only irritated them and not succeeded in cutting off the blood supply? Will they go back to their original size eventually if so?

Was the kit for anal tags? I know that I found kits that worked on facial, neck and other named body parts, but those kits specifically said that they were not for use anywhere else.
