I'm just posting this because in most google searches, marshmallows don't come up as a food that binds. I accidentally found out that it does though, when I started eating a WHOLE LOT of the coloured, mini ones a couple of weeks ago, and then suffered from constiipation! I googled, constipation and marshmallows, and they do seem to have been the culprit (I'm regular again now that I've stopped eating them), but since they don't usually come up on a diarrhea search, I thought that I'd post this here, so that someone who needs a firmer stool can try them.
