Recovery following LIS surgery

Postby rocketphotos_227 » 19 Mar 2018, 10:53

I had LIS surgery 6 weeks ago. Recently I've still had light blood due to probably a combination of stress, eating a lot of insoluble fiber, drinking about 85 fl oz of water on average, and slight constipation due to taking a mass gainer.

I am going to change my routine, but if I haven't healed yet does that mean that LIS wasn't effective for me? When my doctor checked me at my 6 week mark, the day before I had a rough big poop.

How are you getting on now? I had LIS three weeks ago, and I have had two difficult BMs since then, which definitely leave me feeling worse for 48 hours afterward.

Are you guys taking psyllium husk, for me it ensures perfect stool consistency for healing.
