Weight lifting

Postby Vince Carter » 16 Apr 2018, 17:39

Hey i'm a 19 year old male and i've been suffering from the anal fissure since September but recently i've been feeling pretty good about the level of pain I experience

While i still use diltiazem after a bm throughout the day i hardly feel it

I play basketball competively but my game has suffered from not being able to lift weights

I was wondering how I should go back into lifting weights especially my legs as i've been looking the internet for some tips on how to lift with a fissure thats healing or close to being healed

Any feedback would be great thanks :$

I lift too, and the fissure is only ever a problem if I'm already having an episode at the start of the session. Weight lifting doesn't seem to cause me problems. In fact, when I'm having a spasm I often get into a squat position which really helps the pain subside briefly. I think it's really helped with my squat form :)

Did you experience problems while lifting weights or stopped lifting on guidance?
