This looks interesting, I wonder if there was a larger test or follow up?

That's a really interesting article. Thanks for posting it! I'm going to experiment on myself by applying on my suspected fissure scar.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block

I found betadine 10% ointment on Amazon. I got the brand name instead of any other ones.

Yes, it should be on amazon. It was on amazon UK anyway.

I’m really interested to know if there have been any follow up studies, as that result was only based on a few patients.

I couldn't find any follow up studies on Google. It's possible this only works in very specific cases where there are no other complications accompanying the fissure.

Hello guys, is there any follow-up to this? Did any of you tried this? I'm going to have a phone call with the Indian surgery/colon-proctology who conducted this study, tomorrow morning (4am now as we speak).
I have a LIS scheduled In 10 days, but what do I have to lose? Povidone Iodine 10% needs to me in its ointment form, of course. This is all I know by now, will gladly keep you updated tomorrow, as I'll be able to ask for any information to the very real author.
