I do have one! It's annoying, quite big...although I need to measure it to tell you exactly haha. It doesn't actually hurt or irritate to touch it. It swells on a bad day and deflates on good days. It doesn't bother me physically but I'd like it removed more for cosmetic reasons. I will discuss with my CRS today. I have decided to leave it behind if the surgeon thinks it'll delay healing or complicate things, however.

Yeah my tag is getting big too. I’ll see how much it can shrink on its own after I heal from this fissure. I’m supposed to go back to work next Monday but I’d say I’m only 60-70% recovered now. Hopefully I can make some good progress in the few days!

I saw a CRS today and I have LIS with tag removal scheduled for next Tuesday! He really put my mind at ease with his manner and explanations. He's never had a patient with permanent incontinence and he's very conservative with his incision especially for women. I am only nervous about the tag removal but he was the one who suggested it so I am going to go with it! So ready to give this a go and hopefully have my life back!

I'm just in time to wish you good luck! I really hope (and it probably is) that this is going to be the magic bullet that's going to give you your life back.
20/01: Slowly healing fissure-like wound due to surgery
11/03: Started Diltiazem.
07/06: Barely any pain or blood, but it's not fully healed yet.

Surgery seems to have gone super well! I have started a new LIS diary for anyone interested in LIS recovery! :)
