My diet has been pretty much whole grains - brown rice with some beans and tomatoes ( chiplote type) and salads in buttermilk dressing.
Its painful when i go BM but i don't think its the splitting kind.
I am thinking of trying an enema - do you think it will be dangerous at thia stage ?
Should i try more docustate sodium ( its not yer 24hrs since i had the Mirilax )?

About enema - I've never tried one myself. Maybe search this forum and see if others find it helpful? I remember reading about it here and even bought an enema bulb myself - but never ventured to use it.

Is docustate sodium another type of stool softener? I'm not sure if taking things now would soften the stool that has already formed? Sorry I'm not much help here.
